President of Local 6, Kale Cumings received a Bachelor of Music degree from Wheaton College and a Master of Music degree from Northwestern University, where he studied with Vincent Cichowicz. He is an active freelance player and performs with many local orchestras. He represents the distinctive interests of freelance and classical instrumentalists navigating changing media landscapes in major metropolitan hubs.
