Dusty Kelly
Dusty Kelly is the Executive Director of the Toronto Musicians’ Association (Local 149), representing 2,900 members in one of North America’s busiest and culturally diverse entertainment markets. She brings 25+ years of union labour relations experience, a track record of practical problem-solving, and a clear commitment to fairness, safety, and strong collective agreements advocating for the rights of professional musicians.
Prior to being elected to the International Executive Committee at the 2023 AFM Convention, Dusty held governance roles across various labour, safety and arts organizations including as a trustee of the IATSE 891 Health Benefits, and a BC Federation of Labour Officer. In 2019 she was appointed by the BC Provincial Government to the BC Lottery Corporation where she served a two terms.
